Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University inaugurated the Swarrnim Aatmanirbhar Divyang Cell on 22nd April 2021. To help enhance the employment skills and entrepreneurship scope of people with disabilities in India. The Divyang cell will collaborate with various institutes, organisations, Ngo's and will work for creating employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The E-inauguration of the cell was presided over by Mr G. N. Nachiya, Director Social Defence and Government of Gujarat. To provide skill development to youth with disabilities, this cell will provide a platform to develop their skill sets, funding support, prototype development support, legal and networking support, mentorship, co-working space facilities. It will help the youth with disabilities to convert their innovative ideas into a revenue generation model.
